What is The Revery?
The Revery is a boutique luxury hotel on the western coast of Crete. It features safari-inspired tented pavilions (often referred to as glamping) and elevated spacious suites that coexist within the breathtaking natural landscape.

Where is The Revery located?
The Revery is located at Livadia village on the southwest coast of Crete near Elafonisi. It is surrounded by protected landscapes and some of Crete’s most unspoiled beaches.

How do I reach The Revery?
The most convenient arrival is via Chania International Airport (CHQ) with an approximate 2 hour scenic drive. Heraklion International Airport (HER) is an alternative with an approximate 3.5 hour drive. Private transfers and helicopter access are available upon request.

Do I need a car during my stay?
A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area independently. Private drivers and local transport options are also available upon request.

Is The Revery suitable for families?
The Revery is primarily designed for adults and couples seeking quiet and relaxation. We accept guests 12 years old and above.

What types of accommodation are available?
The Revery features two experiences. The Revery Wild offers luxury tented suites close to the shoreline immersed in nature with private hydrotherapy pools. The Revery Suites are elevated cliffside accommodations with sweeping sea views and heated private pools.

What dining options are available?
Fílema Restaurant is a cliffside dining experience inspired by Mediterranean and Cretan culinary traditions using seasonal local ingredients. We also serve a pool menu and an all-day snack menu at the bar.

Is there a spa or wellness offering?
Our ROÉE Spa is a serene space dedicated to restoration balance and reconnection. Facilities include treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, experience shower, cold and hot plunges and a 24hr fitness center.

Can The Revery host private events or buyouts?
Yes. Full property buyouts and select private gatherings may be considered depending on season and availability. The Revery property also includes the private chapel of St. Anthony that can host weddings and baptisms.

Is reliable WiFi available?
WiFi is available throughout the property though the setting encourages guests to slow down and disconnect.

Is The Revery environmentally conscious?

Is The Revery open year round?
The Revery operates seasonally between March and November. For the 2026 season, reservations are open starting July 2026.
